Christmas stocking fillers: Sports books

Reading

Sports books are ideal Christmas stocking fillers for family and friends.

I’m a fan of most sport and fitness pursuits. Admittedly I don’t participate in much other than running and gym. But reading about sporting stories is a great way to get inspired.

The following Christmas stocking fillers provide a real mix across the genre. Now, I know you can read books on e-readers and tablets but I’m old school. There is a definite upside to having something tangible like a real book to give as a gift.

There are two key elements to a healthy, balanced fitness lifestyle. Physical and mental.

Mental resilience plays an increasingly important role in maintaining this overall healthy human balance.

Sport fitness past-times such as hiking and cycling are staples of the UK. Many areas across the country cater for exploration and getting out into the fresh air.
